Screen Service America announces a new era of Microwave Links
SkyLinks joins Screen Service America to provide advanced microwave link technology.
New York, NY January 2011 - Screen Service America is announcing on the American market the products of SkyLinks, a company of the Screen Service Broadcasting Technologies Group from September 2010. Established in 1982, SkyLinks began operations producing analog equipment broadcasting RF frequencies. From 1995 to 2005, SkyLinks designed Outdoor Units in split-mount configuration as the Italian branch for P-Com Inc. From 2005 to 2010 SkyLinks began to design microwave links for the future, creating innovative technology capable of meeting the needs for a digital era, focusing on very high speed rate wireless communications.
With over twenty five years of experience in the microwave field, SkyLinks is now being offered to our customers in North America by Screen Service America. SkyLinks will provide Studio-Transmitter-Link Systems (frequency range 2 to 40 GHz) with line interface speed rate up to 620Mbps , operating at QPSK up to 256QAM with several system configuration options, including ASI and different IP interfaces.
The combination of the High Linearity of transmitter and QAM modulation schemes, assures superb spectral efficiency, performs 99,999% link availability. SkyLinks can be implemented into more than broadcasting solutions.
SkyLinks offers wireless solutions for different applications in different fields: Broadcasting, Telecom, ISP, Industry/Enterprise, Defense, Security/Video Surveillance, Healthcare, Disaster Recovery, Fiber Network Backup, and Long Haul Trunk.
